why consider Morrisby?
Most/All of you will already have tools with which you are expert, may be scored immediately,
are quicker to administer and which are less costly than the Morrisby Report. These tools, or very similar,
are all available in the UK and yet the use of the Morrisby Report has grown exponentially over the last 8 years.
Why?
The reasons centre around these three factors:
- Research findings.
There have been a number of independent surveys carried out that have unanimously endorsed the use of the
Morrisby Report for student and adult populations. Many of these studies have involved hundreds of clients
and numerous careers advisers. See the page on Validation Data.
- The quality of the report (content and presentation). Choosing a career is a big responsibility and well
presented, accurate data to inform the decision is always welcomed.
In user surveys it is common to comment upon the thoroughness and objectivity of the report.
- Efficiency.
The Morrisby Report is close to being an 'expert system'. It offers a comprehensive and efficient process which
reduces the time needed with many students for 1:1 counselling, allowing the Adviser to focus their energies
where they count most. You are not required to spend time writing up or integrating the
results from different measures.
